A 5-minute A&P oral warm-up for your class
Updated October 25, 2026 · free, no accounts, nothing to set up
Put one oral question on the projector. One student answers out loud while an AI examiner follows up the way a designated mechanic examiner (DME) would. Then the class checks the answer against the FAA source. Students leave with a QR code to practice on their own.
The 5 minutes
- 0:00Open one of the topics below on the classroom computer, put it on the projector and allow the microphone. A laptop with a built-in microphone works best.
- 0:30A volunteer answers out loud. The examiner asks follow-up questions; the class listens.
- 2:30Open the FAA page listed under the question. As a class: what did the answer get right, and what was missing?
- 4:30Show the QR code. Students can practice their own questions free, with no account.
Run it as one session on the projector rather than having every student scan at once: live voice sessions are limited right now, so a whole class starting together would wait in line.
Three ready topics
These are the three A&P codes in the FAA's Frequently Missed Knowledge Test ACS Codes reports, in every report so far. Each question is from DMEReady's practice set built from public FAA sources, not an FAA test question.
