DMEReady is a practice tool that lets you rehearse your FAA A&P oral exam out loud and get a report. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why, and who helps us run the service. It is a transparency notice, not a legal guarantee.

What we collect
- Your email address so you can sign in (we send a one-time sign-in link) and so we can keep track of your account and your session credits.
- Your practice sessions. This includes your spoken answers (as audio while the session runs), the text transcript of what you say, the questions you were asked, your results and report, your exam date if you choose to enter it, and any items you add to your study list.
- Payment information. If you buy session packs, your payment is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number; Stripe does that.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your information.
Why we collect it
- To run your practice session and let you speak with the examiner.
- To generate your report and let you review your past mocks and study list.
- To manage your account, your free session, and your purchased session credits.
- To process payments, and to make sure each account uses its free session only once (we link the free session to your verified email).
Who helps us run the service
To deliver the service, your information is shared with the providers below. They process it on our behalf and only for the purposes above:
- ElevenLabs runs the real-time voice conversation and stores your session audio for up to 90 days so you can play it back. We retrieve it only when you choose to listen.
- Supabase stores your account, your session transcripts, and your results.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Anthropic (Claude) generates your evaluation and report from your answers.
- Render and Vercel host the application and the website.
These providers may process and store data on servers located in the United States or other countries. If you use DMEReady from the EU, the UK, Turkey, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in those countries.
How long we keep it
We keep your transcripts, results, and study list while your account is active, so you can review your past mocks.
Your session audio is kept for 90 days so you can listen back to how you answered, then it is automatically deleted. You can delete the audio for any session yourself at any time. Your transcript and report stay; only the recording is removed.
The provider that generates your report (Anthropic) automatically deletes the text it processes within about 30 days and does not use it to train its models.
You can also ask us to delete your account and all your data at any time (see below).
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- see what information we hold about you,
- correct it,
- delete your account and data,
- get a copy of it, or
- stop using your information for a particular purpose. You can also close your account at any time.

Children
DMEReady is intended for adults preparing for the FAA A&P exam. It is not directed at children.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
